We Study the Science of Life
The study of biology at Trinity is a process through which our students become knowledgeable and disciplined, and simultaneously flexible in their abilities to think across biological scales and subjects. Our graduates are equipped with powerful intellectual tools to engage successfully in the career of their choice and make decisions as informed and critically thinking global citizens.
We offer a Biology major (B.S.) for students with broad interests in the life sciences. We contribute to several interdisciplinary programs including Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, Biomathematics,
Environmental Studies, and Neuroscience.
Our curriculum integrates classroom study, laboratory experience, and research opportunities, both on- and off- campus. Students have the opportunity to work side-by-side with faculty members on intensive research projects and present their findings at conferences and in leading academic journals.
