A Room Full of Art


Trinity University artists to display eclectic collection in campus gallery


SAN ANTONIO - Studio art majors who expect to graduate from Trinity University in May will present Kunstkammer, a senior art show that culminates their collegiate art experience. The eclectic works of the 13 students will be unveiled at a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the Michael and Noémi Neidorff Art Gallery on the Trinity campus.

The public is invited to join the artists at the reception. Kunstkammer, which is a German word for "room full of art," will remain open through Saturday, May 18. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday or by appointment.

The collection will display works of artists Erika Dahl-Stamnes, Lexa Ruth, John Dean Domingue, McKenzie Forbes, Katherine Garrett, Sarah Hellman, Jennifer Lewis, Kallie Pfeiffer, Felice Regina, Sarah Sauer, Kathleen Silva, Elena Rodriguez, and Allison Skopec. Included in the show is an impressive range of media from drawing, painting and photography to ceramics and sculpture.
