Trinity University to Hold 2012 Winter Commencement

Jessica Schwartz SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University will hold its winter commencement for 98 graduates and undergraduates at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in Laurie Auditorium. Sixty students will each receive a bachelor's degree while the other 38 receive a Master of Science in Health Care Administration.

Psychology professor Carolyn Becker will deliver the commencement address. She received the Dr. and Mrs. Z.T. Scott Faculty Fellowship Award during the Spring 2012 commencement. The award is given annually for excellence in teaching, advising, and service to students.

Graduate student Jessica Schwartz '10 will present remarks on behalf of her fellow graduates. A resident of Nashville, she earned a bachelor's in 2010 and plans to complete a residency at Denver Children's Hospital that is expected to lead to a fulltime position.
