Head Coach

Julie Jenkins

 

Head Coach Julie Jenkins, in her 28th season at the helm of the Trinity volleyball program, has totaled over 700 wins in her coaching career.  Jenkins has been named SCAC Coach of the Year nine times, South Regional Coach of the Year six times, and National Coach of the Year once.  In 2009, the Tigers qualified for NCAA playoffs for the 18th consecutive year.  Trinity advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the 5th time in school history.

 

 

Assistant Coach

Aly Hazelwood

 

Coach Hazelwood is in her second year as Assistant Coach, following her career as a middle blocker for the Tigers from 2006-2009.  Hazelwood was elected to the American Volleyball Coaches All-American Team in 2009 and is ranked second in Trinity career blocks, with 520.  Perviously, Hazelwood served as Assistant Coach at Marietta College.

Camps have sold out every year!!!!  Registrations will be taken on a first-paid basis until all spots are filled.

To Register for the camp online click here.  To register by mail using a check please print the brochure.  (For Team camp, send all individual registration forms together and note name of High School).   Payment in full is due no later than 10 days prior to camp.

 

 Defensive Camp

 Designed for ages 13-17

  9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.   Fee:  $75.00

The specialty camp is designed to help the camper develop her back row skills.  Training will focus on passing, digging and serving skills development.

  

Position Camp 

Designed for ages 14-17

9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.    Fee:  $215.00

The Position Camp is designed to help the camper develop skills specific to her position.   Group work will be given both by position (setters, middle blockers, outside hitters) and by combination groups of setters, middles, and outsides. Each day will also include 6-on-6 competitions to apply skills learned. This camp is for the advanced player.  The training will be intense and requires a high level of fitness. Campers must have: one year of competition at the high school or club level, and a letter of recommendation from high school varsity or club coach.

  

 All Skills Camp 

Designed for ages 11 - 15

  9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.   Fee: $215.00

The All Skills Camp is designed to help the camper develop her individual skills to a higher level.  Training will be given on all aspects of the game:  serving, passing, digging, attacking, blocking, offensive and defensive team play.  Regardless of skill level, we will help you see results. 

  

 Team Camp 

 Designed for High School Teams (Varsity & JV)

10:00 a.m.  - 3:00 p.m.   Fee:  $145.00

(minimum of 8 players)

This team camp is designed to prepare your team for the start of your season!  We will train your team in the same manner as we train our own college players. Offensive and defensive strategies, along with individual player development, will be our emphasis. Each high school team will be trained by a head and assistant coach. (Please mail all entry forms together and note name of H.S.)

Camp Facilities

 

 

Trinity's impressive Bell Athletic Center offers athletic facilities that are second to none.  Campers will utilize four full volleyball courts for individual work and team games.

 

 

 

What To Bring

 

 

Campers will be provided with a Camp T-Shirt and water bottle.  All campers should BRING A SACK LUNCH each day.

 

 

  

 

Registration Receipts

 

 

When your registration and full payment are received, you will be e-mailed detailed information and required medical and release information forms which must be returned prior to the first day of camp.

 

 

 

 

Cancellations/Refunds

 

 

A registration cancelled 10 days prior to the first day of camp is refundable (less a $50.00 fee).  A registration cancelled after that time is not refundable.  We reserve the right to cancel the camp and will refund all fees.
