Theory, Practice, Leadership Opportunities

The curriculum for Trinity’s graduate program in Health Care Administration – delivered through either the On-Campus or Executive option – is designed to immerse students both in theory and in practice, and to prepare them to be leaders in the health care industry.

  • On-Campus Program: Students complete 16-months of coursework that spans the legal, economic, financial, and managerial aspects of health care administration. Students also have numerous opportunities to interact with health care executives.  Coursework is followed by a 12-month Administrative Residency where students work and study at a health care organization under the direct supervision of a senior-level administrator and the guidance of a full-time member of the faculty.
  • Executive Program: Designed for individuals employed full-time in the health care field, The Executive Program is a 23-month part-time, distance-learning experience.  Students come to the Trinity campus at the beginning of each fall, spring, and summer semester for three days of intensive coursework. Course requirements are accomplished through written assignments, teleconferences, and webinar sessions.

No matter the program route, students are led by a distinguished faculty and experienced health care administration executives, where they gain access to both a strong theoretical base and a wealth of real-world knowledge.
