Windows 7 Upgrade - Employee Work at Home Use

Employees can obtain the upgrade in Halsell 226 with a Trinity ID. Keep in mind, this is an upgrade from Windows XP or Windows Vista.


Before you pick up your copy:

  1. You must determine if your current operating system is a 64-bit version or a 32-bit version to insure you obtain the correct upgrade: only one CD per employee.
  2. Complete the Windows 7 License Agreement and bring the completed form to Halsell 226 during normal business hours.

Before you install:

  1. Download Upgrade Advisor to insure you programs and devices will work with the Windows 7 Upgrade.
  2. Back up your current files to protect your data (recommended)

Installing Windows 7:

  • Vista
    Upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7. This scenario provides steps to upgrade a computer that is currently running Windows Vista to Windows 7.
  • XP
    Upgrade files from Windows XP to Windows 7. This scenario provides steps to migrate files and settings on a computer that is running Windows XP to Windows 7.
