NOTICE TO CLASS OF 2018 APPLICANTS

As our November 1 Early Decision I and Early Action I application deadlines approach, we request that you make note of the following:

  1. Due to complications with the roll out of the Common Application upgrade this fall, Trinity University will continue to accept supplemental materials for all applicants applying as an Early Decision I or Early Action I candidate after our stated November 1 deadline.  Applicants who choose to apply through the Common Application to Trinity University are encouraged to submit their application by November 1 and work to get any supplemental items submitted as quickly as possible after November 1.
  2. As the national press has reported, some students continue to experience difficulty submitting supplemental items through the Common Application portal.  Students applying to Trinity University are welcome to submit the following forms directly to the University at One Trinity Place, San Antonio, Texas 78212 to satisfy their outstanding supplemental materials:
    1. Trinity University Secondary School Report - www.trinity.edu/ssr
    2. Trinity University Teacher Evaluation Form - www.trinity.edu/tev
    3. Trinity University Early Decision Agreement - www.trinity.edu/edagreement
  3. In addition to the Common Application, Trinity University also accepts the ApplyTexas Application and our own Trinity University Application for admission.  You can find links to all applications online through the Trinity University Admissions Portal at journey.trinity.edu.
  4. Trinity University considers all applicants equally for admission and academic merit scholarship regardless of which application they choose to submit.
If you continue to experience delays in submitting the Common Application, please contact the Office of Admissions at 1-800-TRINITY or admissions@trinity.edu.  Please be assured that your application, when received, will be given every consideration for both admission and academic scholarship.

To apply to Trinity University, students must complete either the Common Application or the ApplyTexas application and submit all of the required documents by one of our corresponding application deadlines. It is free to apply to Trinity if students apply online and there is no supplement for undergraduate admission. Set up your Trinity University Admissions Portal account to monitor the progress of your application, register for events, and sign up for events in your area.
