The site of commencements, convocations, and Trinity's high profile Distinguished Lecture Series, Laurie Auditorium frequently hosts San Antonio Symphony Young People's Concerts, Children's Fine Arts Series, jazz concerts, and Trinity in Focus programs. Artists like Bill Cosby, Jay Leno, Patti LaBelle, B.B. King, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Duran Duran, and "Stomp" have all performed in recent years. Trinity's Distinguished Lecture Series has brought to campus life a remarkable variety of former heads of state, journalists, writers, poets and numerous Nobel Laureates.
The Auditorium plays a diverse role in campus and community events. Trinity has hosted its own dance, theater, music, and talent shows on the stage. It also plays host to both corporate meetings and community presentations.
