Junior Math Award - This award is given to the junior whose performance and promise in mathematics are deemed the best by the mathematics faculty.

Service Award - This award is given to the junior who has contributed most to the achievement of the department's goals by providing assistance with and leadership in the department's activities.


Becky Goforth Scholarship in Mathematics - The Becky Goforth Scholarship in Mathematics honors Becky Goforth, Trinity alumna in mathematics from the class of 1995. The Becky Goforth Scholarship in Mathematics was established by the family and friends of Becky Goforth to provide support for four years to an entering student who demonstrates an unusual ability in mathematics and a commitment to major in that discipline. The winner of the award receives $1,000 annually for four years. He or she also receives an individual plaque and the inscription of her/his name on a commemorative plaque on permanent display in the mathematics department. The first award will be made in the Fall of 2011. Application procedures will be posted in the Spring of 2011. 

Trinity University Mathematics Society (TUMS) is raising funds to sponsor an annual scholarship in mathematics. The student receiving the award will be known as the TUMS scholar and will be so announced at graduation.
