Gavin Steiger, M.Ed.

Coordinator

Gavin Steiger joined Trinity University in 2007. As the Coordinator of DSS, he meets with students with various disability-related concerns. Mr. Steiger reviews documentation of DSS applicants, and upon determining eligibility, coordinates the appropriate accommodations. Additionally, he meets with prospective students and their guardians to answer questions about DSS as well as about Trinity in general. He is dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal access to Trinity University’s courses, programs, services, and events while promoting disability awareness to the Trinity community. Mr. Steiger has earned a Master of Education degree in student affairs from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina.



Minerva Lopez
Senior Secretary
Minerva Lopez' employment at Trinity University began in April 2000.  In January 2008, she joined the staff of Counseling Services and DSS, bringing many years of experience in the secretarial and managerial fields.  In addition to providing secretarial support to the various University offices, Ms. Lopez has also served as Gift Coordinator in the Development Office.  Prior to coming to Trinity, she served as a Program Assistant for SER Jobs for Progress, San Antonio Community Initiatives and was a Department of Army employee for 24 years.
