Through the Department of Communication, students from first years to seniors work with state-of-the-art media production equipment in a full-HD television and film production center and a cutting-edge HD radio broadcast and production studio housed in the Richardson Communications Center.
Whether planning careers in media or just having fun, Trinity students document, create, report, and record for shows and publications that meet professional standards and serve the Trinity community.
Each outlet offers an internship course for academic credit. Internship courses are open to all majors and are frequently the "foot in the door" to a regular position with a station or publication. Further, the Department of Communication offers a full slate of classes for students wanting to investigate the theories, practices, and industries of media.
Because the publications and broadcast outlets are real businesses with real revenue and expenses, they may offer students opportunities in accounting, sales, and business management.
