Camille Lightner Hall

Camille Lightner Hall is one of the most popular upper class halls on campus, primarily due to its unique set-up. Each suite shares a central living room area and each room has its own bathroom. There are 30 suites contained on five floors. Lightner is located between Prassel and Thomas Halls on the west side of campus and is attached to Thomas Hall.

Lightner Hall amenities include:

  • Laundry rooms located on the second and fourth floors.
  • Vending machines located in the first floor lobby.
  • A balcony that is shared by each suite
  •  Access to the Thomas lounge, which is on the third floor, and is equipped with cable TV and a kitchen.

    • Lightner rooms feature:

  • Built-in desks, with two drawers (one shallow, one deep) and three adjustable shelves above each desk
  • Large walk-in closets with a four-drawer dresser, shelving and hanging rods for each resident.
  • A living-room area between each suite furnished with a couch, coffee table and arm chair.  

    • Lightner bathrooms feature:

  • Partitioned areas for the toilet and shower.
  • Each room possess its own bathroom.
