Baker Duncan Scholarship - Studio Art Program

 

The Baker Duncan Fine Arts Scholarship is awarded to incoming first-year students who intend to major in art each year. Awards range from $2,000 to $10,000 (renewable for up to eight semesters).

Deadline: The deadline for consideration is March 2, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Application packets must include the following:

1.  Résumé.

Please include your contact information: name, address, email & phone

2.  10-15 digital images of your work on CD.

Artworks may be in any medium. Images should represent the work as accurately as possible. Each image should be saved as a jpeg with a file size not exceeding 3MB. Label your images as follows: 01 Your Name, 02 Your Name, etc.

3.  Image List.

Please provide separately a list of images, with your name at the top. The Image List should be numbered (to correspond with the number on the jpeg file name); for each image on the list include the title, materials/media and dimensions.

4.  A self-addressed, stamped envelope, if you would like your application materials returned to you.

Scholarship Requirements

This award is renewable for up to eight semesters, excluding summer, on condition that the recipient becomes and remains a major in Studio Art, and maintains full-time enrollment and a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
