Our International Alternative Spring Break program is nothing short of amazing! Before taking off on this alternative spring break, students spend time during the preceding weeks learning about international development, Dominican culture and history, child development, and various other topics.
In 2014 the destination will be the Commonwealth of Dominica, a small English-speaking country in the Eastern Caribbean. Students will spend the week volunteering at a school for children with special needs as well as experience much of the culture and natural beauty that the island has to offer. Students have the option of participating in the International Alternative Spring Break for one or two course credits, or taking in the experience as a co-curricular activity.
