The mission of the Office of the Dean of Students is to serve students as they manage academic, personal, social, and emotional issues and concerns, represent their legitimate needs to others, and represent the University's interests to them.
The Dean of Students serves as the senior Student Affairs officer and also assumes responsibility for the following:
- Student Affairs departments
- Strategic planning
- Student issues
- Parent relations
- Student conduct
- Student Success and Behavioral Intervention Team
- Student government
- Alcohol Coalition
- Class Marshal program
- Annual Dean of Students Half Marathon Challenge and Food Drive

The Office of the Dean of Students is a member of the Division of Student Affairs.
Our office is located in 118 Northrup Hall, across from the "Learning Tree" sculpture.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
