Trinity has a very strong tradition of music-making that dates back to founding of the University in 1869. Annually, hundreds of students from across campus perform in Trinity's various instrumental and vocal ensembles, making it one of the most popular activities at the university.

Highlights include fall and spring performances, the candlelight Christmas Vespers service in Parker Chapel, the combined Christmas Concert, an annual performance of a major choral-orchestral masterwork, frequent touring, and other special events.

All students, regardless of major, are eligible to participate in any of the music ensembles at Trinity.
