Bringing MAS to Trinity

Members of the MAS faculty regularly bring in speakers, performers, exhibits, and films from Latin America and Spain to campus. We offer a wide-array of courses in Spanish, as well as on topics related to anthropology, archaeology, art and art history, biology, communication studies, economics, environmental studies, film, literature, political science, sociology, and theater of Latin America and Spain.

There is a Spanish language residence hall, where students are encouraged to speak in Spanish and to immerse themselves in Latino cultural activities in order to develop their knowledge and fluency. We also engage in academic exchanges, such as our partnership with “Tec” de Monterrey for exchanging faculty and students on an annual basis.

MAS fosters the continued growth of international studies opportunities, by supporting both Trinity-based programs and collaborative efforts with other colleges and universities. The MAS program ensures that these opportunities are accessible for all Trinity students.
