SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University invites alumni to catch up with old friends, reunite with favorite professors, and reconnect with their alma mater at its 2013 Alumni Weekend, to be held Oct. 11-13. Following this year's theme, "Remember When...," alumni will relive old memories and make many new ones with a wide range of events.

"The theme for this year's Alumni Weekend is all about nostalgia and memories," said Mary Kay Cooper, senior director of the Office of Alumni Relations. "People really are going back in time when they return to campus. We hope alumni leave re-energized about Trinity and that the weekend reminds them of how wonderful the Trinity experience is."

Alumni Weekend kicks off Friday, Oct. 11, with the Trinity University Alumni Golf Tournament at 8 a.m. at the Quarry Golf Club. Throughout the day, different campus organizations will be holding reunions, such as:

Trinity's former international students are invited to a reception in their honor.

Friday's events will conclude with an All Alumni Gathering and Dinner at 6 p.m., which will include a class gift presentation and a "pass the gavel" ceremony, where Erin Baker '99 will be installed as the president of Trinity's Alumni Association.

Saturday, Oct. 12, starts with the President's Welcome at 9:30 a.m., in which Trinity University President Dennis A. Ahlburg will provide alumni with a "state-of-the-University" update before joining them for the traditional climb of Murchison Tower.
