Sharon serves as the University's chief external communications and marketing officer; responsible for marketing, media relations, publications, Web presence, community relations, special events, and Laurie Auditorium. Serve as the University's media spokesperson when appropriate. 
After graduating with a B.A. in communication from Trinity, Sharon worked as a reporter and anchor at an NBC-affiliate in San Antonio before returning to the University in 1988.

In addition to being editor of Trinity magazine, Mary works with departments to write and/or edit a variety of recruitment and promotional materials and other collateral pieces. She oversees design, prioritizes print projects, and hires freelance designers, writers, and photographers as needed.
She has a B.A. in English from Mary Baldwin College, has taken graduate English courses at UTSA.  Before coming to Trinity in 1981, she was public relations director at Atkins Advertising and wrote a weekly humor column for the North San Antonio Times for two years.

Susie P. Gonzalez is assistant director for news and information in University Communications. She handles media relations and writes and edits stories for the Tower News, the University's monthly newsletter, and for theAlumNet newsletter for alumni, and also contributes stories to the Trinity website and Trinity magazine.She holds a B.A. from Louisiana State University and a master's degree from the University of the Incarnate Word and previously was a reporter and editor at the San Antonio Express-News.

Justin works closely with Trinity's 18 intercollegiate varsity athletic teams, which include nine each for men and women. He can help connect reporters with coaches or athletes or provide background information about a team record.
He holds a B.A. from Trinity in Business Administration and has worked as the Sports Information Director since graduating in December 1999. 

Mary Anthony

Mary Anthony, assistant director for University Communications, handles community relations and special events for Trinity University.  Anthony has worked at Trinity since 2003 and is responsible for the logistics, promotions, and media relations for the major public University lectures. She also provides event expertise and counsel for faculty and staff handling department-sponsored events and manages all event details for external non-profit groups using facilities at Trinity.
Past work experiences include positions for the USA Rice Council as a bilingual media spokesperson, an extension agent for the Texas Cooperative Extension Service-a division of the Texas A&M University System, and a senior account executive for Dublin & Associates Public Relations, Inc.
Anthony has a bachelor of science from Texas State University and a master of science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Off-campus, Anthony is an active member of the Association for Women in Communications and the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists and serves on the Communications committee for the City of Olmos Park. She is a San Antonio native.

Vee DuBose

Vee designs a wide range of publications for print and online, including brochures, posters, newsletters, ads, e-vites, etc. to help University clients tell their story or publicize campus events. She oversees print production and advises on logo usage.
Vee holds a BFA from Stephen F. Austin State University. Before coming to Trinity, she worked at James Avery Craftsman in Kerrville and M.D. Anderson in Houston. She is co-founder and current president of Cat Alliance | Trinity.

Russell Guerrero

Russell Guerrero is the public information officer for University Communications. His duties include writing news stories for Tower News, the monthly Trinity newsletter, and AlumNet  the alumni newsletter; the University website; and the Trinity magazine.  He also writes news releases, contacts the media regarding Trinity news, and works with reporters who want to interview faculty and staff members.  He is co-editor of LeeRoy, the daily events newsletter for the University, a contributor to the University's Twitter and Facebook accounts, and is a sometime photographer for Trinity.
Russell graduated with a bachelor's degree from Trinity in 1983. Before returning to Trinity in 1996, he worked in production and creative services at a local television station.

Amy Chapman

Amy’s current focus is the upcoming redesign of the University website, but she also offers assistance and guidance in digital media and communications strategies for members of the Trinity community. She joined Trinity in 2010 as the Communications Coordinator of the Information Technology Services department and moved to University Communications in late 2012. She is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University where she earned a B.S. in Psychology.

Damon Bullis
Web Developer

Damon is the Web Developer who helps people build and design their sites. He also help train people in Ingeniux, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop. Additionally, he is available to review the structure and flow of a site and offer suggestions to help improve the user's experience while on a site. Damon lived on a Native American reservation, all over the U.S. and in Belgium and Germany. He graduated from UTSA with BBA in Infrastructure Assurance, Information Systems, and General Business. He has been a computer programmer since the Apple IIc and a web programmer since the days of Geocities.

Lupe Chelmis

Lupe produces publications such as programs, invitations, ads, posters and more. She is our photo archivist and manages all of our photography. She graduated from San Antonio College with an Associates of Arts in 1994. Lupe has been with the department since 1996.

Monica L. Saenz

Monica L. Saenz supports the Assistant Vice President for University Communications and maintains all financial records for the Office of University Communications budget. She is co-editor of LeeRoy and oversees its daily operation. She also supports the News and Information staff with proofing and the distribution of news releases and is in charge of the media database. She has been at Trinity for 15 years and earned the Helen Heare McKinley Employee Excellence Award in Dec. 2008.
