Trinity leadership
Established in 1869, Trinity University is one of the nation's top private undergraduate institutions. Trinity is led by Dennis A. Ahlburg, Ph.D., who became the University's 18th president in January 2010.
Dr. Ahlburg is an internationally renowned economist whose research interests include demographic economics, forecasting, labor economics, and the economics of higher education.
Before coming to Trinity, he was the dean of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and was previously senior associate dean, the IR Land grant Professor of Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and the Fesler-Lampert Chair in Urban and Regional Affairs at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Trinity is governed by a diverse 36-member Board of Trustees, which is responsible for establishing policies for the governances of the University.
