Lecture by David E. Shi, president emeritus of Furman University. Shi, an Atlanta native and a 1973 Furman graduate. During his presidential tenure, he was a champion of the university's emphasis on engaged learning, energy conservation, and environmental stewardship. Under his direction, Furman became a national leader in promoting sustainability.
