Holiday Cheer: Trinity University to Present Annual Christmas Concert

SAN ANTONIO - Trinity University will musically welcome the holiday season with its 18th annual Christmas Concert. The concert, which has become a favorite San Antonio tradition, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in Trinity's Laurie Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public; reservations and tickets are not required. Seating is available on a first-come, first-seated basis.

The program will feature the combined talents of nearly 200 of the University's singers and instrumentalists and will include traditional holiday favorites such as It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Polar Express medley, For Unto Us a Child is Born from Handel's Messiah, Greensleeves, and a festive arrangement of Jingle Bells. Featured ensembles are the Trinity choirs, orchestra, wind ensemble, and handbells.

Pre- and post-concert seasonal music will be provided in the foyer by the Jazz Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Brass Quintet and Trinity's own a cappella student groups, the Trinitones and the Aca Bellas.
