Laurie Auditorium plays a diverse role in campus and community events.

 

Laurie Auditorium is a unique venue that plays an important role in both campus life and the life of San Antonio. The amphitheatre design and wide stage allow for excellent views throughout the hall. The largest on-campus facility, Laurie Auditorium seats 2,700.

The site of commencements, convocations, and Trinity's high profile Distinguished Lecture Series, Laurie Auditorium frequently hosts San Antonio Symphony Young People's concerts, Children's Fine Arts Series, jazz concerts, and Trinity in Focus programs. Artists like Bill Cosby, Victor Borge, and Hal Holbrook in "Mark Twain Tonight!" Kodo, Jay Leno, Anne Murray , Patti Labelle, B.B. King, Van Cliburn and "Stomp" have all performed in recent years. Trinity's Distinguished Lecture Series, have brought to campus life a remarkable variety of former heads of state, journalists, writers, poets and numerous Nobel Laureates.

The Auditorium plays a diverse role in campus and community events. Trinity has hosted its own dance, theater, music, and talent shows on the stage. It also plays host to both corporate meetings and community presentations.
