Assistant Director for Study Abroad
Nancy Ericksen has worked with the Study Abroad program at Trinity University since 1986. A graduate of the University of California at Davis, she is a former teacher of English as a Second Language who terms herself a "nomad". Born in Texas, she moved 31 times - living in 7 different states in the US and in Germany - before finally settling with her family here in San Antonio. Nancy has been broadly involved in Study Abroad and has received two national awards for her contributions to the field. However, her real passions are story-telling, music, and her granddaughter - who is perfect.
Study Abroad Advisor
Brigette joined Trinity's International Programs office in 2007 and spent four years advising international students and scholars. She earned her BA in Anthropology and English from the University of Texas at San Antonio, which included a semester studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh. In search of a master's degree and an adventure, she attended graduate school at Central European University in Budapest, where she completed her MA in Sociology and Social Anthropology. In addition to travelling and anthropology, Brigette is most passionate about long train rides, sunshine, baking bread, politics, dancing on beaches, and finding small moments of awe.
