 Jamie ThompsonJamie Thompson
Director, Campus & Community Involvement

Jamie Thompson joined CCI in September of 2009. A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Jamie earned a bachelor's degree in business administration (finance and management) from Trinity University. Jamie received her M.S. in higher education administration from the University of Kansas. She has been involved in the field of higher education for seven years in the areas of student activities & involvement, leadership development, and fraternity & sorority life at the University of California, Berkeley and University of Kansas. When she is not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, and doing outdoor activities.

Kate PolivkaA. Kate Polivka
Assistant Director, Campus & Community Involvement

Kate Polivka joined CCI in February of 2013. A native of southeastern Virginia, Kate earned her M.S. in Higher Education and her B.S. in Geology from Old Dominion University. She has been involved in the field of higher education for ten years in the areas of orientation, career counseling, and residence life at Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Christopher Newport University. In her current role, Kate coordinates orientation and leadership development. When she is not working, Kate enjoys jogging, swimming, creative writing, and spending time with family. 

Briana McGlamory Briana McGlamory
Coordinator, Fraternity and Sorority Life

Briana McGlamory joined CCI in July of 2011. A native of Texas, Briana grew up in The Woodlands and attended Trinity University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Religion. She was an active student on campus and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Sorority. She also served on Greek Council and Greek Council Executive Board as Service Chair in 2009-2010. She is pursuing a master's degree in Higher Education Administration at UT - San Antonio. In her current role, Briana oversees Trinity's 14 Greek organizations and Greek Council. When she is not working, Briana enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, reading, watching football, and being outdoors.

Soisuda SmithSoisouda "Soi" Smith
Coordinator, Diversity & Intercultural Relations

Soisouda "Soi" Smith joined CCI in July of 2010. A native of Arkansas, Soi earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas. Soi received her M.S. in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University. She served as the graduate assistant in the Center for Multicultural Affairs at Florida State University. In her current role, Soi coordinates all diversity programs and initiatives as it relates to the Division of Student Affairs. Some of the programs she is responsible for are the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Lecture and multicultural retreat. When she is not working, Soi enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, watching sports, and traveling.

Becka BovioBecka Bovio
Coordinator, Student Programs

Becka Bovio joined CCI in May of 2013. A proud native of Texas, Becka earned a bachelor's degree from Baylor University. Becka received her M.S. in Higher Education from Florida State University. In her current role, Becka oversees clubs and organizations, advises the Student Programming Board, and coordinates Family Weekends. When she is not working, Becka enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and writing, dancing, and visiting her grandmother's farm.  

Edwin BlantonEdwin Blanton
Coordinator, Community Service & Engagement

Edwin joined CCI in August of 2008. A native of Missouri, Edwin earned bachelors' degrees in Marketing and Hospitality Management, and his M.S.A. in Public Administration from Southeast Missouri State University. He has been involved in the non-profit and volunteer management field for ten years and served in the U.S. Peace Corps. He has held various positions in non-profit organizations such as Get Your Guts in Gear, Do Something, inc., and Ready, Willing...Enable! inc. of which he is a founding partner. In his current role, Edwin oversees community service programs such as alternative breaks, Days of Caring, and also advises the Trinity University Volunteer Action Community. When he is not working, Edwin enjoys running, cycling, traveling, and volunteering.

Katharine MartinKatharine Martin
Coordinator, Student-edited Publications

Katharine Martin joined CCI in July of 2003. A native of Kentucky, Katharine earned a bachelor's degree in English from Wells College. She was a journalist for 15 years and a public school teacher for nine years before coming to Trinity to serve as the advisor to the student staffs of the Mirage yearbook and Trinitonian newspaper. Katharine enjoys emailing her kids, learning, biking, quilting, and traveling.


Amy JohnsonAmy Johnson
Office Manager

Amy Johnson joined CCI July of 2005.  She is a native of the Alamo City, yet has had the opportunity to move with her family and live in different locations in the United States and Germany. Amy attended high school in Davis, California, then California State University in Sacramento.  She returned to her home state in 1995 where she worked for the corporate world for a period of time.  She has experience working as executive and administrative assistants in the oil business, with investment brokers, a medical company and several dentists.  Amy has been involved in the field of higher education administration for seven years.  In her current role at Trinity, she is the Office Manager and supports the Director of CCI, the Assistant Director, as well as five Coordinators.  When Amy is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, large family, and friends.  She also enjoys fishing, movies, baking, paranormal programs, yard sales, playing with her two dogs and three cats, and graphoanalysis (hand writing analysis)..

Carolyn BonillaCarolyn Bonilla
Coordinator of Coates University Center

Carolyn Bonilla joined CCI in September of 2008. A native of San Antonio, Carolyn has enjoyed seeing this beautiful city grow and prosper throughout her life. She has been involved in the administrative field for eight years and served in various capacities throughout her career as a secretary for the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, dispatcher/field coordinator/secretary for InTEC of San Antonio Engineering Firm, and claims and collections specialist for Khoury Alternative Claims. In her current role, Carolyn is responsible for the upkeep and oversight of the Coates University Center (CUC) building, manages reservations for CUC, and assists in maintaining the CUC and NSO budgets. When she is not working, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, the outdoors, and listening to music.
