YOUR OPTIONS Daily Tour and Information Sessions, Individual Counselor Appointments, Overnight Stays, Meetings with Professors, Classes & Auditions, Meetings with Coaches, and Group Visits
Daily Tour and Information Sessions. Join us as current Trinity students give daily walking tours of our outstanding facilities and attend a 30-minute information session with one of our admissions officers.
Tours are offered every weekday while the University is open and Saturdays during the academic year. Tours depart from the Office of Admissions each morning at 10:15 am. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Individual Counselor Appointments. While Trinity does not require interviews for admissions, we do offer seniors, and occasionally juniors, the opportunity to meet with an admissions officer. These open dialogue sessions allow prospective students the chance to ask questions and learn more about Trinity's academic and student life while the admissions officer gets to know you better. We make every effort to accommodate individual appointment requests, however, on occasion, counselors may not be available.
Overnight Stays. High school seniors who want a more in-depth view of Trinity can spend the night in one of our residence halls as the guest of a current student. These stays are limited to Monday through Thursday nights during the academic year when classes are in session, except for admitted seniors attending a Trinity 360° program.
Meetings with Professors, Classes & Auditions. High school juniors and seniors with a particular area of academic interest are welcome to attend one class or department visit while seniors can perform a musical or theatrical audition during their campus visit. These auditions, however, are easiest to accommodate during Trinity In Focus visit programs.
If you would like to visit with a professor or meet with/stay overnight with current Trinity students, we'd love to set that up for you!
It is important that you request your appointment at least two weeks in advance. We make every effort to accommodate your preferences, however, occasionally specific requests may not be available.
Meetings with Coaches. Students interested in meeting with a coach should contact him or her directly before scheduling a visit by calling (210) 999-8222. Please leave 10:15 am - 12:30 pm free for your campus tour and information session.
Group Visits. Trinity is pleased to schedule group visits for high school sophomores through seniors. If you are interested in arranging such a visit, please email Karen Risley or call her at (210) 999-8163. Group visits require three-weeks advance notice.
Please note: While walk-in visitors are always welcome, if you schedule your visit with the Office of Admissions at least two weeks ahead of time, we can better accommodate your needs.
3. HOLIDAY VISIT SCHEDULE
Due to a large number of visitors on high school holidays, Trinity University offers a morning and afternoon tour and information session. Overnights are available Monday through Thursday for senior prospective students when classes are in session (overnight stays are not available during Trinity University's Spring Break March 11-15, 2013).
San Antonio is a great city to visit over the holidays. We suggest that you arrive a few days early if you are traveling from afar so that you can visit some of the attractions and sample the cuisine of the country's seventh largest city.
To register for a visit, go to our online calendar.
Note: Please add "admissions@trinity.edu" and "visit@trinity.edu" to your preferred contact list to ensure email relating to your visit are delivered to your in-box. If you have scheduled a visit and not received an email address, please check the email account used to complete the registration form and/or check your SPAM or Junk Mail Folder.
